I shot so many photos…

Photo Caption: I shot so many photos this past weekend!! I’m trying to get a bunch of them out over the next few days… Here goes!!

This was from Monday night in Death Valley.. I had taken off from #MilkyWayChasers Meetup at Trona with a whole bunch of people and we decided that the dunes were our destination.. I will get to that story later but fast forward to Monday… We got up and had breakfast at Stovepipe wells after camping in their not so glamorous campground.. We then took a drive through TItus Canyon which was about a 3 hr trip but was absolutely gorgeous to see.. I had a conference call and a couple hours of work to get done so @SMPetersonPhotography and @EricZumPhoto left me at the restaurant and took a tour of Mosaic canyon…

We then moved camp down to Furnace Creek because all the exploring we wanted to do was closer to that area… I don’t want to go into huge detail about our debacle that early evening but we had a location that we had never been to that we were on a mission to find that changes due to conditions and weather. This put us on about a 3 mile adventure and we never found exactly what we were looking for. So we decided to save our evening and head to the mud cracks that I had been to countless times after a similar adventure through the desert the very first time @SaoLyBensonPhoto and I had ever hung out..

The crescent moon was out during blue hour and as of late, i’m a huge fan of it in my photos.. It lit up the mud cracks nicely and for some reason, my new 16-28 lens gave it a nice rainbow on each side… I got a bunch of different comps while i was out there but this colorful blue hour MW is my fave i think… This is 15 images stacked for the sky, and 20 for the foreground in SLS for Noise reduction! Only reason this is a different foreground vs background is so that I could focus stack..
