Sons of The Sea Brandon Boyd Solo Tour

Brandon Boyd has embarked on his solo tour while Incubus is taking a break. The Tour named Sons of the Sea started on the East Coast but has made its way West already and I shot two of the shows… Here’s a small sample of the photos..

Incubus in Wolverhampton November 2011

Back in November of 2011, I was out in Birmingham, England for UFC 138 and Incubus happened to be touring all over England so I grabbed a train over to Wolverhampton to catch their Thursday night show with my buddy Jeff. I shot from the front of the stage and then after we took some seats, I shot from above the stage and got some kick ass shots!

Clint Lapointe..

A couple weeks ago I happened to be on the Santa Monica Pier on a day with incredible weather and this singer and his drummer set up their instruments there.. I sat down to enjoy the melodies and the great weather and ended up there for over half an hour so I bought the Clint Lapointe CD to show my support.. The music is awesome and I play it in my car all the time!!! You can check out the songs here: https://myspace.com/clintlapointe

Brandon Boyd of Incubus..
I was recently given a photo credential for the San Diego Incubus show by my good friend, Ben Kenney; he also happens to be the Bassist for the band.. It was the second concert on their new tour and I grabbed a number of my fighter friends to go see the show.. I had a blast shooting from stageside (rhymes with cageside!) and watching the concert in the beautiful SD weather.. I hope someone likes the Dethrone sweatshirt I left out there!!
Anyhow, I really liked this photo of Brandon Boyd, although there are a bunch of photos from the night that I really liked!! You can check them out here:

Ben Kenney of Incubus…
Ben Kenney and I have become close friends over the last couple years and in all of that time I had yet to see him perform. So I headed to LA a couple weeks ago and saw the group perform to a crowd of 100 people.. Still wanting to see a full concert, I made plans to meet them in San Diego for the second stop on their new tour. Ben got me a press credential and I was in the front row shooting through 8 or 9 of their songs. It was an amazing experience and quite humbling to see my down-to-earth buddy on stage as a rock star performing for THOUSANDS of fans. Once back in my seat, I happened to hear a fan scream “I love you Ben Kenney!” and continue on a slew of fantastical obscenities that I’d rather not repeat here.. Anyhow, it was awesome and I appreciated every moment of the experience! Here’s on of my fave shots of Ben from the night…
