Photo Caption: Last summer headed out to the Lake Powell area on our way to Reflection Canyon from the lake side…. I made sure to milk the trip for everything I could (get it???) and dragged my group off on some tangents off the beaten path… This was from the 1st night of the trip. This was taken on my 70d which is crazy to me because it seems to have as much detail as an image off my 6dmk1.. I’m not sure if that means I was getting better at shooting, or editing but I’m pretty stoked to get that much response out of a crop sensor and feel like others with crop sensors shouldn’t be discouraged!!

As usual, it’s season again and i’m desperate to shoot. As with last season, clouds keep slowing me down. I’m up now and wish I was heading out to shoot, but snowboarding is taking me to mammoth. I’m hoping that means I can get some time in about 24 hours to pray for clear skies and convince my friend to drive me somewhere at 3am.. Cross your fingers for me!!!
