Photo Caption: Here’s another picture from the White Pocket adventure on Labor Day weekend; this was my first composition of the night.. We were at WP by sunset so had scoped out the places we were going to shoot although I had really only thought about this one because I wanted to do a timelapse too.. I also hadn’t done much in the way of reflections before so getting the reflection to come out on camera was a bit trying. —
We lit this scene with a single Lume Cube (lumecube.com/160.html) on a tripod stand from the right. I climbed up to put a 2nd cube on the back peak and then realized I would need it for other shots so I climbed right back down.

This image is a single shot (meaning I didn’t PS a brighter foreground I had taken earlier into the image), although I did take five of them to stack for noise reduction. These were the only five I had gotten with the same composition before the sky really started losing its blue or else I would have stacked more than five.
