Photo Caption: Sunset and the Milky Way

As a photographer, you always hope for clouds at sunrise and sunset, and a clear night so you can shoot the Milky Way. Friday night in the bay of all places, we lucked out and it was one of those nights! —
One of my favorite times to shoot is when you can’t see the Milky Way, but you know it’s there. While we were waiting for the tide to go down, and the rocks to appear at Bowling Ball Beach, I just started shooting. It was definitely after sunset but the sun was still reflecting on the clouds from way below the horizon.. —
I wish I had shot for stacking or at a lower ISO because this photo is pretty grainy but I love the aspect of the sunset and the MW in a single image so I decided to see what I could do with it.
