Wow. 100,000 followers.. I can’t believe it! The last seven months has been an absolutely blast going through some absolutely breathtaking images and meeting all sorts of incredible people.

From amazingly successful, professional photographers to the aspiring novice just picking up a camera for the first time; all of you have something in common with each other as well as myself. A thirst to learn, progress, and capture incredible images of our night sky. And with that common denominator, Milky Way Chasers has brought together many of us to meet up and head out on adventures to shoot the Milky Way.

For myself it has meant the beginning of many new friendships with photographers from all over the world, as well as many hours of administering, responding to messages and moderating the Facebook group which has grown to almost 5k active users in the last 5 or so months. It’s been a pleasure to chat and get to know so many of you along the way.

I hope this active community of like minded people continues to grow and I wanted to take a moment to thank you all whether you be professional photographer, enthusiast, or just love to enjoy photos of the Milky Way. Thank you for motivating me, personally, on a DAILY basis to learn more and adventure farther In an effort to continually create higher quality and more creative images than I ever have.
