Photo Caption: Getting to the Dollhouse in Canyonlands was hard.. Shooting while there was even harder.. We had clouds pretty much every single night which made for great sunsets but bad astro photos.. Shooting star trails with clouds is definitely possibly, but you end up with tons of breaks in the trails :(..

I left my camera going overnight but not before grabbing 3 foreground shots which I stacked in PS using the Median Stacking method.. There was a lot of moisture in the air so before I went to sleep, I put 2 hand warmers on my lens to keep it from dewing up.. This is a total of 500 images- I let it run until the battery died..
