SLIDE TO VIEW PANO ➡️…

Photo Caption: SLIDE TO VIEW PANO ➡️

So I had to come back out to Moab as last trip I was here was a full moon so I only got about an hour total to shoot. So I planned a trip back and then the weather wasn’t cooperating… We changed our plans around and decided to hit Mesa Arch early this morning because it’s ease of access in case the clouds did clear up- originally we were going to go tonight because we figured everyone else would be at Arches. @jhaas58 and I parked in the parking lot at 11:30pm and crashed out with an alarm set for 1:30am. It was completely overcast when I looked out!! I woke up a number of times to look outside at at 4:15 am, I saw stars!! We collected ourselves quickly and made the short hike down to the arch. We arrived about the same time that 4 other people did. All of us worked together to get the arch lit as quickly as possible and in the process of planning out my pano, somehow I forgot to find my focus. Luckily I know my lens and had moved it to the general area of focus, but it was still pretty far off; I didn’t realize it until all the sunrise shooters started arriving. No matter, I still stitched it together and here it is.. I guess I’m gonna have to go back some time and try again… great meeting everyone Out there that morning!!
