Photo Caption: On Thursday, I had a location all picked out that required a 4×4 and a couple mile hike… the clouds thought otherwise though. We went as far as the base of the trail and decided to turn back as the composition was very time specific so even if it cleared up later, the shot would no longer be good… this was actually the theme of the weekend kind of; getting skunked on all of the shots we originally wanted (except Friday night, you’ll see those pics soon!)… fast forward to 3am and the sky had cleared!! We didn’t have a location picked out so we just headed up 313 and pulled over on the side of the road… shot this as the moon was rising behind the lower peak on the left… we lit the foreground from 100 ft off to my left with a single lumecube.com/160.html (use code TRACYLEE for free shipping) at like 1000 ft away (guesstimating!) This is 10 images stacked for the foreground and 10 for the sky..
