Photo Caption: So i’m still editing photos from my whirlwind Borrego Springs trip with @Ambiec28.. My goal that night was to get about 4-5 compositions and this is #3 I believe.. After leaving my camera at the big horn sheep for 3 hrs, I recovered it and then went hunting for a new composition that would line up.. I had searched for the elephants and it wasn’t facing the direction I wanted.. These statues were on the south end of town and I had never seen them in person but went looking for them and it lined up perfect! Add to that I haven’t seen very many people shoot this one at night.. This eagle was right next to a bunch of Ocotillo Cactus that we got busy shooting at the same time. I didn’t have anything to bounce the light of the lumecube.com/160.html (that URL and my code TRACYLEE gets you free US Shipping!) so I ended up moving the rental car and using it as a bounce!!! lol I can’t recall what I had the lume cube set at but i’m assuming 5%.. We were finished shooting the cactus so left my camera here and took off in search of another composition.
