I was holding on to this for some reason.. Not sure why but now that i’m up in Vancouver and no access to most of my files, I realized it was a Happy Birthday Milky Way Selfie for me! lol.. I took this back in October when I went to White Sands National Monument with my niece, Crystal for HER birthday… While out there, I made sure that I got some photos in the infamous red dress with a little help from her!! I am holding a lume cube- using the wifi app i had my niece set it off for 1/4 of a second at 1/4 power.

I used @SLIKusa Tripods to keep my camera steady. I have been using them for YEARS!
This is a stack of multiple images, 4 images stacked for noise reduction in Starry Landscape Stacker and then a single shot for the foreground with me in it.
