Miss Milky Way showed her pretty little face about 4 hrs ago for 5 minutes… it’s her 1st day of 2018 cresting the horizon… thanks to @photopills for always supplying amazing information… I took off an hour or so south of Vegas in the hopes to catch her in those 4 precious minutes… I know you can JUST see the Dark Horse Nebula and this isn’t an amazing composition or anything but I’ve had 2 months off and needed to see her!!! It was great to see Scorpius this morning too! I wish the clouds hadn’t been in the way; would have seen her much better! The sun rising in the Milky Way didn’t help either but so what?!
