Photo Caption: So I ran around Idaho this past week with @j.sorrellsphoto in search of some cool comps and some hot springs.. Well we got clouded out most nights and most hot springs were washed out.. We made the most of it and didn’t give up on the sky in-spite of weather saying that we wouldn’t have clear skies at all. Well weather apps that said it would be completely overcast, I present you this photo I took in Stanley on Thursday night! This cabin overlooking the river with the gorgeous Sawtooths in the background! I’m not saying it was easy- it definitely was an effort.

This is multiple images stacked and 3 stacked layers blended; sky, hills in the background, and foreground (when I got a good foreground, MW wasn’t in position yet)… Lit with 3 lumecube.com/160.html (use code TRACYLEE for free US Shipping); 1 inside the cabin and 2 outside… the only thing I’m bummed is the haze caused the MW to be super blurred out.. we left to try and get another comp that evening and 30 min later it was completely overcast and dumping snow… Idaho!!! It’s friggin’ MAY!!!
