This trip is really starting to take a toll with us moving locations to a new city every night. We made it to the Moab area later than planned so we missed shooting sunset and blue hour for our foregrounds. We opted to take a nap, and then head over to Dead Horse Point as it is an easy to access location and could shoot moonrise or blue hour over the canyon in the morning.. We arrived there around 2am where Mike from NJ was already shooting. We set up with plenty of time before Moon and Blue hour and I polar aligned my @SlikUSA tracker (the same one we’re giving away in the contest). I shockingly had pointed it directly at the north star perfectly so all I had to do was fine tune the tracker and I was set up. I wanted to shoot a longer focal length and longer time than last time; so impressed with how well it turned out!!

We noticed a lot of haze in the sky which has translated at the bottom of this image from all the fires in the area we believe!
