We hung out in Ridgecrest to wait out the 108° heat before heading to Trona after sundown… we got some time in editing at Starbucks.

We drove the entire loop scouting our comp for the night, planning for a late night moonset.. we had the place completely to ourselves save one other car.. I left a time lapse running and then went to sleep for a bit and then realized I planned wrong so before the moon completely set, I grabbed a series of these images…
