Photo Caption: Glacier National Park has been on my list of places to go for a while… but the trip I planned a couple weeks ago with @whiskeybowen @ryantoswald @missjessbess & @megavai left us lacking for time as well as clear weather.. we were hoping for an amazing sunset, as well as clear skies for the Milky Way, but instead we got these overcast clouds and then a blizzard!! The color on the trees was amazing but I didn’t even get a chance to shoot photos of it.. thank you to Ryan for scouting ahead to help find this location; I was inspired by @perrikschelatphotography’s amazing image from this location and wanted to find it but was so limited in time..

This is a focus blend of two shots; one for foreground and one for sky… it’s also a content aware scaled image because I wanted the foreground and sky to fit into this Instagram 4:5 crop and didn’t care so much about the center of the image… yes the rocks are really colorful; perhaps not as vibrant as I made them here but the colors all exist!!
