Night 4 of #TheGreatMilkyWayChase… I’m losing track of days; I just know that we’re on day 7 of this trip… I think we left New Mexico on Monday and as we were driving through we saw this amazing butte so decided that this was our comp for the night.. we pulled off and shot before the moon rose but we wanted to get the moonlight on the butte so we waited.. This was taken after the half moon had risen above the surrounding mountains… can’t believe I got so much detail with the moon so high in the sky.. this is 20 images stacked in Starry Landscape Stacker for NR.. make sure you check the settings below!
