How many of you are…

Photo Caption: How many of you are sitting on photos that you know you shot wrong? This is one of those photos for me… I had wrongly anticipated the milky way’s location this night and by the time the sun had set, I shot my foreground photos and car light photos, and then it was dark enough to shoot, the Milky Way had moved out of my frame at 22mm… I also was having some focus issues for some reason and I switched to my 24-70.. I rotated my camera slightly to the right to pick up the milkyway and shot it at 27mm as part of a pano… when I got home I thought I had just totally messed up and it was insalvageable…

till, last night when I decided to composite the sky from that night into the foreground and create this image.. so this image is fully possible at this location with the correct planning.. Milky Way would be slightly smaller if the entire thing was shot at 22mm.. I’m starting to check some of my mess ups to see what i can get from them..
