Raining Stars

Shooting the stars over Mount Rainier as the wild flowers bloom has been a bucket list item for me for a very long time. I had no idea what my composition would look like, or where I would shoot from but this is the main destination of my 3 week Van-Life road trip.
We went in search of the perfect flowers & composition, and here we found that including the White River flowing on the left. We set our stuff down & seconds later 8 other photographers appeared. Apparently we had found THE spot and in hindsight, I agree.
I’ve been back from this trip for over 2 months. I had lost some motivation in my photography and my focus was elsewhere. A new friend motivated me to touch my photos again, and I am so thankful for that encouragement. This photo being minted is a result of those words, and I’m truly in love with it.
I hope that whoever has this image in their collection feels the passion behind this image; truly a culmination of years of work and desire for that truly special shot.
